Jan. 14, 2009, ANTHEM, Ariz. — ABBA Fab will perform two multimedia benefit concerts at Boulder Creek High School on Friday, Feb. 13, at 6:00 p.m. and again at 8:30 p.m. at the Boulder Creek High School Performing Arts Center, 40404 N. Gavilan Peak Parkway. Tickets range from $20 to $25 or $25 and $30 the night of the show. All proceeds will benefit the Boulder Creek High School Band Programs. This multimedia production is a tribute to some of the greatest music produced in the 1970s and 1980s. ABBA, originally from Sweden, swept the world with their music back in the 1970s with songs such as Waterloo, Fernando, and Dancing Queen. More than 30 years later, their music swept the world once again as the basis for the hit Broadway musical and movie, Mamma Mia. Featuring synchronized videos and live performances, enjoy the musical tribute of ABBA Fab as a truly unique experience you will remember for a long time! Featured performers include Terry Davies, Anne Davies, and Chelsea Faulds. The show is produced by Terry Davies of the Platinum Room at Skye Restaurant in Peoria, AZ.
All proceeds will benefit the Boulder Creek High School Band Programs and is sponsored by the BCHS Band Boosters. The funds are used to support the band program, including transportation to football games, marching competitions and concerts as well as purchasing and maintaining instruments and uniforms. www.bcjaguarpride.com
