Frys Cool Cash

Fry’s grocery stores welcomed us to the “COOL CA$H” Earning for Learning program. This program is part of Fry’s on-going commitment to our schools, our children and our educational process.
The program runs Sept. 1, 2010 to April 23, 2011.

Fry’s has worked hard to make this program easy for parents to participate. All you have to do is:

  :: Pick up a copy our Fry's “COOL CA$H” barcode from the band room (Booster Bulletins board near the door).

  ::
On your next shopping trip to Fry’s, present the band barcode along with your V.I.P card to your cashier.

  ::
The cashier will scan our barcode into the computer and then swipe your V.I.P card.

  ::
This will automatically link your V.I.P card to our band.

  ::
After this, every time you shop, every purchase you make will automatically be deposited into the band’s account.

  ::
This only needs to be done once. (Note: The link must be renewed each school year.)

  ::
Within 72 hours, you will see a “COOL CA$H” message on the bottom of your next grocery receipt.

  ::
Once the band reaches $50,000* in spending, Fry’s will send the band a check for $500 to spend as we wish.

  ::
The band's barcode may be passed on to neighbors, relatives and co-workers to assist us in achieving our goals sooner.

  ::
V.I.P card can only be linked to one school per year.

  ::
The program ends April 23, 2011 for the 2010-2011 “COOL CA$H” year.

Over the years, Fry’s has donated over $10.7 million to Arizona schools. They care about the education of Arizona’s children and look forward to a continued partnership.  Since everyone buys groceries, this is an extremely easy way for us to raise funds for much needed new instruments.  "Retire the Tubas!"

*Excludes alcohol, tobacco, money order, Western Union, postage stamps, event tickets, Ticket Master, lottery ticket, gift card fund raising purchases and pharmacy.

In celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Kohl’s Cares philanthropic program, they’re giving back a total of $10 million to 20 eligible schools nationwide.

Whether Twitter or a typewriter is more your speed, there’s a way you can spread the word about the Kohl’s Cares contest. Spreading the word about the contest is the best way to get more people to vote for our school. And the 20 schools with the most votes win up to $500,000 each!

Go to http://bit.ly/a3q6ti, vote and share an idea for what our school could do with $500,000. You get 20 votes and can cast up to five votes per school. The contest runs from July 7 to Sept. 3, 2010. Winners will be announced in late September.

Dream big. Act now!
